STERLING SILVER RED FOSSIL CORAL SLICED PENDANT

The pendant measures approx 1 3/4" long x 1/2" wide

Fossilised coral comes from coral reefs just like the marine coral variety. The difference between the two is very simple, the fossil coral is many thousands of years old whilst the marine coral is still a living and growing organism. All those years ago when the coral reefs were growing they just simply grew upwards until they pushed out of the surface of the water, it then dried out and became fossilised coral calcium. 

So instead of killing live coral please opt for the more Environmentally Friendly Fossilized Coral Calcium
