MALA PRAYER BEADS

There are 108 beads, each one is approximately 10mm in diameter

The beads are Rudrax or Rudrashka, sacred fruit from a sacred tree and highly revered.

This item is also a FAIR TRADE item.

The Mala is a Buddhist rosary, Practioners chant a mantra which is usually "Om mani padme hum" for each of the beads, and they meditate whilst working their way through the beads. There are usually 108 beads as this is a significant number in Buddhism.
