One specimen of Trinitite

Please note, only a few pieces left, and available in different sizes, and priced by approximate gram weight. This is due to them being very small specimen pieces:-

0.1grams - Sizes are approx 6mm - 8mm long x 5mm wide
0.3grams 8mm- 10mm x 8mm ***currently out of stock***
0.5grams - Sizes are approx 9mm long x 7mm wide x 7mm depth
0.7grams - Sizes are approx 13mm long x 9mm wide x 7mm depth
0.7 grams of loose grains and particles of Trinitite. Some pieces are 1mm to 3mm long. Ratio of grain particles to 1mm to 3mm pieces is roughly 50/50.

On the fateful day of July 16, 1945, the first Atomic Bomb was detonated at the Trinity site in New Mexico. The resulting fireball scorched the desert sand and formed depressed crater about 800 yards in diameter which was lined with a fused green glass which is called Trinite. This impact Glass is very limited in quantity since the original site was covered over some years ago.
