    Came in a small bottle with the roots inside with the oil, it's got a very nice smell perfect for a candle burner, said to bring luck to the person who uses it, still waiting though. I'm sure it gets its name from the saying devils shoestring as in devils shoelace, to trip up the devil and keep bad luck away.
